XPDF Beamline Proposal
DLS Phase III
We have now submitted the full proposal for the XPDF beamline for consideration by the Diamond Scientific Advisory Committee. A copy of the proposal can be downloaded from the Downloads page of this website.
The working group would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who gave generously of their time in preparing the case for support. This includes those who attended the XPDF workshop at Diamond, those who offered input in person, by phone or via email, and the student members of the Goodwin group at Oxford for proof-reading.

Our vision for XPDF is straightforward: to build an instrument that measures X-ray PDF data of the highest quality possible at DLS, servicing the very large number of UK research groups whose work relies on understanding local structure in materials.
